Corpwell Foundation’s mission is to “Leave significant tracts for the future.”
Following this mission, the organization assists individuals and/or organizations in various aspects of accomplishing their goals to preserve, educate and improve communities.
The Foundation regains use of historical and unused buildings by completing HSSS (Historic Sites and Structure Surveys), structural assessment, assists in creating a vision, identify community support and interests, obtain grants, find private funding and donations to restore, recover, and enhance the property. Ultimately buildings will offer needed community resources, historical or art exhibits, as well as provide education. Read more

This year Sea Captain Foster Homestead is hosting various events for the community in hopes to start traditions around the historic property commemorating the Sea Captains of Brewster.
1. Christmas Decorating On the Saturday following Thanksgiving bring decorations.
2. December 2nd- “Christmas Lights Hanging”
3: December 9th- “Tree Lighting Event” moved to the 16th
4. December 16th- “Tree Lighting Event”
5. Saturdays- December 17-24th – “Strolls”
Anyone in the community is welcome to attend or volunteer.

Join us in a fundraising meal on Thanksgiving Day.
Dinner starts at 3 PM.
Christmas decorating event, bring your own decorations, help us make it special for our visitors. 11-2 PM November, 25th, 2023.

Sea Captain Foster’s Homestead will be open and offer tours at 1 PM each day.
The Heritage Barn will display work of the Oasis Artisans and have an event.
